Fed: 2GB finishes year on top

Talk station 2GB has finished 2009 with a significant lead over its competitors.

In the final Sydney radio ratings survey of the year .. 2GB has recorded an impressive
14.9 per cent share .. up 1.2 percentage points from the last survey.

It's way ahead of its nearest AM competitor ABC702 .. which scored a 10.7 per cent share.

Rival 2UE is next with a 6.7 per cent share.

2GB's gains come largely thanks to breakfast king ALAN JONES .. who now holds a staggering
18.6 per cent share of the market .. after growing two percentage points.
