Beltelecom goes Universal with triple-play offer.(INTERNET)

Belarusian fixed-line incumbent operator Beltelecom is launching its inaugural triple-play--voice telephony, broadband, and TV--package from May 5. In a press release, the PTO said that the new package, branded "Universal," will include 1,500 minutes of voice calls (1,000 local minutes, 300 regional call minutes, and 200 national minutes), unlimited broadband with a maximum 1Mbps/512kbps connection, and IPTV for BYR90,000 (US$30.1) per month. State-owned Beltelecom had 750,000 ADSL broadband subscribers as of the end of December 2010, a market share of around 80 percent.
